My photography is meant to encourage a pause a retreat from pain, much like a comforting scene in a cinematic story. I hope each image helps others breathe, reflect, and draw strength.

I believe everything in creation reflects the work of a magnificent Creator.

Artist’s Statement

by Jenise Watson-Row

In a world often shadowed by sickness, hatred, and tragedy, I aim to capture light—moments filled with love, kindness, joy, and peace. Photography allows me to preserve these glimpses of goodness, offering viewers relief from life’s heaviness and a reminder that beauty still surrounds us.

I believe everything in creation reflects the work of a magnificent Creator. There is wonder in every living thing—in nature, in animals, in each other. When we focus only on suffering, it fosters fear and despair. But when we turn our gaze to the lovely and heartwarming—a flower in bloom, a familiar face, a playful pet—we’re reminded of peace and possibility.

My photography is meant to encourage a pause—a retreat from pain, much like a comforting scene in a cinematic story. I hope each image helps others breathe, reflect, and draw strength. Life is undeniably hard, yet beauty still thrives, purpose still calls, and we all still matter.

If even one image of mine uplifts a heart, then my purpose as an artist is fulfilled. May the Creator, who clothes even the smallest flower in splendor, continue to show us that there is goodness, love, and peace available to us all—if only we open our eyes to see it.
